What to know for India
Marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart have their own image rules, including a pure white background for the main image. Tell the photographer where you will list, and ask for files sized to those requirements.
How to compare quotes fairly
Ask for the number of final edited images, the usage rights and what is extra. A cheaper day rate with paid retouching per image can end up costing more. On VouchQuote every quote follows the same structure and at most three professionals reply, so you can compare them side by side. Quotes on VouchQuote are shown in US dollars.
Questions to ask before you hire
- How many edited images will I receive?
- Where can I use the photos, and for how long?
- Is retouching included?
