Privacy policy

VouchQuote Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through VouchQuote.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number, city.
• Job details and quotes you post or send, and messages between users.
• Payment records for professionals (card details are handled by Stripe, never stored by us).
• Technical data: IP address, device and usage information.

Why we use it

• To provide the service (contract).
• To prevent fraud and fake jobs, including phone verification (legitimate interests).
• To send service emails and, with consent, marketing.

Who we share it with

Professionals see your first name, city and job details. Your phone number and email are shared only with the professional you hire. We use processors for hosting, email, SMS and payments, under contracts that protect your data.

How long we keep it

Account data while your account is open and up to 6 years after for legal and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. Email support@vouchquote.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
